- The Crime Stoppers Tips Hotline will be taking over the administrative functions of a school safety notification program in Northland, Missouri schools. The new program allows students from the Northland schools to anonymously text tips to law enforcement.
- New York Congressman, Tom Reed is introducing legislation that will reauthorize the COPS (Community Oriented Policing Services) program on a long-term, five-year basis (for Fiscal Years 2015-2019) with prioritization for law enforcement to apply for School Resource Officer grants.
